Survivors of Afghanistan's war-ravaged history have bore witness to years of death and destruction. One man shows ICOS's film crew the remains of his house following Soviet bombing raids in the 1980s. While security has improved, he explains, the affects of the war still live on; his family works on the land in order to eat, but has no money with which to pay for medical fees.
